But overall its a fun expansion. Just beat some chaos dwarves with some halfings. Its a fun addition cause most of these teams our not outstanding, but can hard counter others. Love the mixed teams and all the other options for leagues. The halfing only league is fun. Really just having a ton of fun on this game. Figuring out strategies for each of the teams, the commentators, and the crazy rolls of the dice are great. Looks like I have my teenage son hooked on this game as well!The comments are great and animations are fun. I also like that I can just play vs. the computer when I have time as that is at a premium at this point in my life.Buy it and have fun!. An excellent addition to Blood Bowl 2.Highlights:8 New Teams. Mixed Teams Available. New Stadium. Better Single Player.I haven't played all of the new teams yet, but I have tried the Vampires, Goblins and Amazons. The goblins are as fun to play as before, just don't look to win very many matches.The new stadium is nice, but nothing to really get excited over.What really stands out for me is the new single-player mode. You can go through a couple different modes with offline teams. It's great if you want to get in a quick game or want to try out a new starting lineup or team you are unfamiliar with. If you're a fan of BB2, then this is a must have.To be honest, the AI does seem better, making less "stupid" mistakes than it used too. Further testing is needed to see just how better it is.Seriously, try a Goblin Team, they're really, really fun!. If you are into the multiplayer parts this is probably a no brainer - more teams more stuff, what's not to like.For the single player aspect though ... why put all the work into the new leagues if the AI is still terrible? I'm no expert player but it is very hard to lose to an AI team. The only visible change I've noticed is the AI will not try to score on the final turn if it can't win anyway, which is fair enough but doesn't make it any more competent to play against. They can't even teach it to move after a blitz, which to me would be a good place to start.Oh well, maybe it will motivate me to get online and try some multiplayer just so I don't feel like I wasted the money. Still, pretty dissapointed they didn't put a lot more work into improving the AI.. Good addon, it is now far superior to all of the previous blood bowl games, improves most things but the main points are bellow:1) New challenge mode: is fun, nice addition, hopefully we get more than 10 challenges, or they openit up to the comunity somehow;]2) New single player eternal campaign: Is pretty good, AI still has no turn awareness or move one square kickoff event, or sideline surf protection but I think the AI is better then before.(But just a feeling;]) It is fun to cripple a team that stays arround;] or play with a weaker team. (Also make youself have rules, like not allowed to surf opposition etc...Set AI difficulty to Hard etc.)3) New teams: Excellent new teams, some bugs but all done fairly well. Especially love the goblin look.4) New star players: This changes the game somewhat, since there are so many star players and AI uses them a lot. Bit lazy making Helmet a goblin, but is ok;]5) Leagues with mixture of players and AI: This is excellent for running a league with a mixture of different skilled players.Also congratulations Cyanide on the excellent pricing for all of the addons etc. very fair and very reasonable. Not a money grab and did not make me feel ripped off at all for having already purchased all of the previous content.Note: Still a bit buggy... hopefully these will get fixed;]. Visually the game looks good but I have to ask..Where is the blood? FUMBBL's java client has more blood than this. It doesn't matter in the end but it would be a nice quality of life thing along with pitch wear and tear and some other visuals.Other than that, the game seems alright. Every race is in now except Chaos Pact I think.. I love the expansion, but for its price its a little dicey. I still reccomend it as i love all the new teams, the mixed teams and the eternal leauge. If you like the base game id reccomend but if your one of those people who dont like the second game maybe give it a pass.. 4.5 Stars - Adds variety to base game.Worth getting to expand your optionsProsnew races. Great game to chill out to and drink while yelling, has all the emotional highs and lows of an oscar award winning film and all the gore of a B Horror Film.. Awesome content. Really beefs up the experience of the game. If you're planning on playing blood bowl 2 get this expansion. 10\/10
